Discover Oslo conveniently and inexpensively - with the official Oslo Pass
The Oslo Pass is the official visitor pass for the city of Oslo. A good addition or alternative is a city tour of Oslo with the hop-on hop-off bus or a boat tour on the Oslofjord.
A ticket for free admission, local transport and selected discounts in Oslo.
Free access to over 30 museums, sights and cultural highlights.
Unlimited use of bus, streetcar, metro, ferries and local trains in Oslo.
Free crossing with the public ferry to the museums on Bygdøy.
Discounts on sightseeing tours, leisure activities and selected restaurants.
The Oslo Pass is the official tourist card of the city of Oslo. It gives you free entry to over 30 museums and attractions, unlimited travel on public transport in Oslo and numerous discounts (e.g. on tours and restaurants). The pass is available as an app or plastic card with a validity of 24, 48 or 72 hours.
Choose the appropriate validity period (24, 48 or 72 hours) according to the length of your stay in Oslo. There are passes for adults as well as discounted versions for children, young people and seniors - longer passes are often cheaper per day and are worthwhile if you want to visit many attractions.
You can buy the Oslo Pass online as a voucher or on site. After purchasing online, you will receive a voucher to exchange at the Oslo Visitor Centre (Central Station); alternatively, the pass can be purchased digitally directly via the official Oslo Pass app or at points of sale in Oslo (e.g. at the Visitor Center).
The pass is activated the first time it is used - from this moment on, the selected validity period of 24, 48 or 72 hours counts. With the physical pass, you note the date and time of first use on the card; the digital pass must be activated manually in the Oslo Pass app before first use.
Show the pass at the ticket offices of museums and attractions as well as at ticket inspections on public transport to get free entry and free travel. Plan your visits well: each attraction can be visited once per day, some museums are closed on Mondays or require reservations, and skip-the-line admission is not included.
